Should just sell the couch

We are many who have been there. Who has posted the wrong photo on Facebook and Instagram or sent the wrong photo to a person on Messenger.

But there are probably fewer of us who have confused the sofa in the living room with our own child.

Lucy Battle (20) from Leeds in England did that. When she was to post the sofa for sale on Facebook for the neat sum of eleven kroner, she marked a picture of her son and wrote in the ad that he “must go today”.

It should not be underestimated that some parents of young children have probably thought of the idea, but Lucy’s plan was to get rid of an old and gray two-seater – and not the seven-month-old son Oscar.

The mail went viral almost immediately, and it was only when it flowed in with messages, that Lucy discovered the mistake, writes Wales Online.

– Can I switch to a teenager, wrote one moroccan.

– Is he good at doing the dishes, wrote another.

– Does he work well with other children, joked a third, while the award for best feedback probably goes to the mother who wrote:

“How about an exchange for two for one? Teenager (14) and brother (6). You get their dad for free! ”

Lucy says she was extremely embarrassed when she discovered what she had done, but was glad that everyone took it in a good mood.

– At first I was confused by all the messages. Then I looked at the Facebook post again and saw that the main picture was of my son. But the person who came to get the sofa was not interested in him. He just wanted the couch.
