Riyadh: The Saudi Passport Directorate (Jawasat) has requested that the sponsorship of children who have reached the age of 25 who have a visa dependent on their mother or father should be changed to the name of the institutions. The dependent visa can only be continued if students are over 21 years of age.

Those over 21 on a dependent visa must present documents proving they are a student when renewing their iqama. After the age of 25, you can only stay in the country on a work visa. For this Javasat explained that if those who are dependents of foreigners in Saudi Arabia with a family visa, if they are over 21 years old, must present the instruction documents to renew the iqama, and those who have reached the age of 25 must change the their sponsorship to the name of the employment organization.
