Shots in the middle of the street in Quaregnon

A young person was injured this Sunday evening in Quaregnon. According to the mayor Jean-Pierre Lépine, an altercation degenerated, in the center of the commune. At the start of a haulage event, the tone rose between three or four young people and a shoemaker who was on site. Either punch was lost.
Still according to Jean-Pierre Lépine, the shoemaker has lost his cool; he then went into his business and returned with a pistol. He shot in the leg of one of the youths who was hit in the shin and hospitalized. His days are not in danger. The shoemaker was arrested. We do not know whether he was or was not deprived of his liberty; the police authorities refusing for the time being to any comment.
