The police say that shots were fired from a car at a house and a car. No one is said to have been hit by the shots.
The residents were at home
Several people are said to have been in the house when the shooting happened.
– We are working to question the parties involved. The people who live in the house were at home when this happened. We look after them as best we can, and accept explanations, says the task leader.
The police will not say where in the Søndre Nordstrand district the shooting took place, but NRK knows the address.
Police detectives arrived at the scene half an hour after midnight. Personnel from the criminal police and uniformed crews also worked at the scene.
A larger area around the residential area has been cordoned off, says NRK’s team at the scene.

Unknown motive
The police do not yet know the motive for the shooting, but do not believe it was a random incident.
– We are keeping all possibilities open in the investigation, but there is no reason to believe that this was completely random. The way we see it, this looks purposeful, says Rønning.
The police do not fear that the incident poses any danger to others.
– Our assessment is that the incident does not cause any danger to outsiders, writes operations manager Per Ivar Iversen, in a message to the press.
The district includes places such as Holmlia, Mortensrud, Klemetsrud and Bjørndal.
The police received a report about the shooting at 10.38pm on Tuesday evening.
