Shots at Colegio Cervantes were made with 2 weapons

The General Prosecutor’s Office of Coahuila reported that the student of the Cervantes College, who shot inside the school last Friday, used two weapons with which he made nine detonations inside the campus located in Torreón.

“The basic procedures related to the expert tests, ballistics and forensic medicine have been completed. Among these tests, a total of nine tapped caps, eight .40 caliber and one .25 caliber, were located at the scene, ”said the Prosecutor’s Office.

On the cause of the death of the 50-year-old teacher, it was determined that it was as a result of acute internal cerebral hemorrhage, injury to vital centers and organs and injuries to the skull and thorax.

While the child under 11 died of acute cerebral hemorrhage as a result of a skull injury.

“In collaboration with the educational institution, interviews were conducted with teachers, administrative staff, as well as family and friends corresponding to the child’s near circle. The scientific tests in the insured electronic equipment are continued, which are subjected to detailed analyzes, in addition to the processing of psychological opinions made by specialists, ”added the Prosecutor’s Office.
