Shot on Christmas Eve in Lugoj. The thieves stole 50,000 euros, 12 gold roosters and jewelry

Thieves do not rest on the holy holidays of Christmas either. They struck on the very evening when many believers were celebrating the birth of the Savior Jesus Christ. It happened in a house on Splaiul Morilor Street in Lugoj. It seems that the thieves acted on tiptoe, because they knew what they had to do to leave with the sack full.

No one was home at the time, and they acted like in movies. They entered the apartment by climbing upstairs, forced open the door and stole 50,000 euros, 12 golden roosters and other jewelry.

What the thieves did not know was that there were several surveillance cameras in the area. The injured party filed a complaint with the Lugoj Police, but so far the thieves have not been caught.

“The police officers have drawn up a criminal case under the aspect of committing the crime of aggravated theft, the investigations being continued in order to identify the perpetrators and take the necessary legal measures”, said those from the Timiş County Police Inspectorate.
