FAJAR.CO.ID, YAHUKIMO — The body of Pratu Agung Pramudi Laksono, 27, a member of the Mobile Yon 7 Marines of the Indonesian Navy who was a victim of the KKB shooting, is currently lying in the Dekai Koramil Hall, Yahukimo Regency, Papua Mountains. Regarding this matter, the Dandim 1715 Yahukimo Lt. Col. Infantry Tommy Yudistyo said.
Tomy said that Pratu Agung Pramudi Laksono’s body had now been laid to rest and was scheduled for Tuesday (22/8) to be evacuated to Jayapura and then to Jakarta.
The victim who was shot in the back of the head died on the way when he was evacuated to the Dekai Hospital.
The incident that the victim experienced occurred at around 11.10 WIT at the Infantry Battalion 7/Marines Task Force Post which is a new post being built on Jalan Yahuli, Lower Paradiso KM 6, Dekai District.
The shootout occurred between members of the Yonif 7/Marines Task Force and the Yahukimo Kodap XVI armed criminal group (KKB).
It is suspected that the cause of the gunfire was because the KKB Kodap XVI Yahukimo was not happy with the construction of a TNI-Polri Task Force post in the Yahukimo Regency area.
