As the police are now reporting, on Wednesday, April 28, at around 5 p.m., a PI Grafenau patrol crew was made aware of a young man who is said to be shooting at children with an airsoft gun. When the patrol arrived at the sports field, the perpetrator fled on foot. However, he was arrested a short time later.
The weapon and its ammunition were seized. It turned out that it was a weapon that did not require a license under the gun law. So far, the police are aware of two children who were injured by the shooter. The young man has to answer criminally for dangerous bodily harm.
