Soon everything could change with regard to the Rai license fee. News in sight for one of the most contested taxes.
Good news for Italians and for all those who, in general, do not tolerate the condition of having to pay the license fee of the state TV directly through the electricity bill. This has been discussed for a long time possibility, since the Renzi government decided to combine the two. The reason lay in the certainty, in this way, of the payment of the same canon. The criticisms have since been absolutely firm.
What is not yet clear is what could happen according to the rumors coming from the Government. We could go back to the old method, namely that of the single bulletin comprising only the fee Rai. In this case, however, it would be necessary to tighten the controls and realize that with a greater eye on the whole dynamics, many could be avoided almost of evasion. In short, the Italians should continue to pay the fee.
How to obtain the exemption from the Rai license fee: all the information
In any case we could go towards a return originally, under the conditions that existed before it was decided to merge the Rai license fee with the electricity bill. To proceed to request exemption, a possibility provided in the absence of TV. In this case, you can fill in a specific form and send everything through the officially recognized channels. The procedure can be carried out via web, through caf or accountant.
In any case, the officially accepted channels are the following:
- through fiscal, electronic service whose access is possible through the Oral Office of the Revenue in person or by proxy; or through an authorized intermediary
- via pec attaching the forms and digitally signed to the address [email protected]
- by ordinary mail, the forms sent by registered letter with return receipt to the Revenue Agency – Turin Office 1 – Sportello subscriptions TV – P.O. Box 22 – 10121 Turin
Clearly, declaring falsehood in such cases could lead to criminal involvement with the justice system. In any case, as noted, it is possible to be exempt from paying the Rai feeobviously, however, by saying the truth, declaring the truth, always, in every case.
