The search is on for the next generation of trailblazing entrepreneurs as the shortlist for the 2023 EY Entrepreneur of the Year awards has been announced. The awards program celebrates exceptional leaders who have demonstrated exceptional vision, innovation, and ambition in their entrepreneurial journey. This year’s competition promises to be as exciting as ever, featuring some of the most daring and dynamic business leaders across the globe. With the shortlist now revealed, anticipation builds as to who will take home the prestigious title of EY Entrepreneur of the Year.
The nominees for the 2023 EY Entrepreneur of the Year awards have been announced, with 29 individuals nominated across three categories, representing 24 different companies. These entrepreneurs come from a variety of industries, including healthcare, hospitality, manufacturing, retail, consumer products, technology and engineering, and collectively generate revenues exceeding €700 million and employ over 5,000 people. The competition’s theme this year is “the art of entrepreneurship.” There are three award categories: emerging, established, and international, with an additional sustainability award for the finalist making the significant environmental contribution. The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony later this year, where one entrepreneur will be crowned the EY Entrepreneur of the Year. The finalists will participate in a strategic growth program over ten months, including a week-long CEO retreat in Singapore, where they will network with other entrepreneurs, businesspeople, and academics. The overall winner will represent Ireland at the World Entrepreneur Of The Year Awards in June 2024.
