Shortcut To Liurnia Of The Lakes
There are many reasons one might want to skip Stormveil Castle, such as avoiding the Castle Sword Bird which rivals dogs and rats as the most annoying foe of all time.
The former Stormveil Castle was a misty and waterlogged area called Liurnia of the Lakes which also served as the location of the Academy of Kingdom Lucaria.
Mages and magic users will find this shortcut especially useful as they gain access to a host of new Magic, Staff, and other new items and abilities that enhance FP-centric builds.
While other buildings won’t benefit the same, Liurnia of the Lakes is a beautiful new setting for open world leveling, which is especially helpful in defeating tough bosses when you return to Stormveil Castle.
How To Get Through Stormveil Castle In The Elden Ring
To bypass Stormveil Castle in its entirety, head to Stormhill Shack just a short drive from the Site of the Lost Gate of Grace through the valley of Godrick Warriors and Giants.
From here head straight north until you pass under the large bridge that leads away from Stormveil Castle. You should come to another broken bridge after crossing some hazy vegetation.
There’s a Finger Reader here that you can talk to, which clues you in to the location of a very important item.
He claims that the bridge to Liurnia is broken and Stormveil is passable to get there, but in fact the bridge is not completely impassable.
