Shortage of medical personnel and medicines in Syrian hospitals

Hospitals in Syria suffer from an acute shortage of medical staff and medicines, which has greatly increased pressure on them due to the number of injured people they had to deal with as a result of the earthquake.

The images recorded by the cameras of the Jableh National Hospital will remain ingrained in our minds, due to the severity of the pain and oppression it caused.

The disaster passed, but its stench lingers everywhere, and the tragedy continues, which began here even before the morning of February 6th.

Doctor Ali, one of the doctors in Jableh Hospital, said: At the time of the earthquake, the oxygen cylinders fell on the only CT machine that we had.

One of the nurses said, This is a family of 3, who arrived now after four hours under the rubble and their condition was very bad, and hours later the father arrived, and we learned later that they had lost their one and a half year old child.

Inside this hospital, we leave a great tragedy, whose title is not only the great earthquake, but also the lack of capabilities.
