Short track athlete Kruzbergs wins first place in the 1000 meters in the first stage of the World Cup

Then in the semifinals, he started with the first skate and drove the full distance to finish first in one minute and 24,419 seconds.

In final A, however, Kruzberg, completing the 1000 meters in one minute and 23.959 seconds, was the fastest and took the victory. Korean Yong Lin Lim took second place, losing nearly half a second, while Dutch short track Theun Boor finished third.

Meanwhile, in the first round of the individual 1500 meters, Bērziņš was first in his skating, ahead of his closest competitor by almost a second, but in the second round, losing less than a tenth of a second, he had to settle for second place. , not making it to the semifinals. Bērziņš finished the competition in the 1500 meters in 22nd place.
