Short-term profit-taking continued on the Prague Stock Exchange

The Prague Stock Exchange deepened yesterday’s losses and finally, as measured by the PX index, it weakened by -0.47% to 1,400 points. After a positive opening, the Prague Stock Exchange gradually began to weaken and reached negative territory in the morning, selling pressure then intensified after worse data in the USA in the afternoon. Profit-taking continued on Czech shares, which eventually lost -1.83% to CZK 1,017 again with an above-standard volume of CZK 951 million. Komerční banka did not fare well either, with a drop of -1.08% to CZK 734. Pojišťovna Vig then lost -0.67% to CZK 594. On the contrary, Erste Bank improved by 0.45% to CZK 852 and Moneta Money Bank added 0.80% with a valuation close to CZK 88. Colt Cz shares then rose by 0.85% to CZK 590.
