Short power outage, six thousand households without electricity

The villages of Menaam, Dronrijp and many nearby villages were without electricity for a short time around noon on Monday.

Six thousand households were temporarily without electricity. It concerned the villages of Baaium, Baard, Bitgum, Bitgummole, Blessum, Boksum, Deinum, Hilaard, Húns and Leons, Marsum, Peins and Zweins, Skingen and Slappeterp, Winsum and Wjelsryp and part of Leeuwarden. Due to the malfunction, Radio Eenhoorn was also off the air.

The grid manager sent a technician and a short while later the message came that the malfunction had already been resolved.
