The film as a personal, essayistic research of the lifetime of a cameraman. He searches for the memories with the question: What remains? Film as conservation, places in whose image the past lives on, where encounters come back to life. A portrait without a protagonist: This is only created through images of his past and in the places he – perhaps – visited, for the brief moment of the film’s duration, in the imagination as a fictional figure of the audience.
