Fouad said during statements to the derby program on Greater Cairo Radio: “My retirement? The crisis was due to the nature of my work abroad in a company … I spoke to the CEO of the club to check things, and I was about to retire, but things worked out. “
And he added: “I renewed my contract with Al-Ahly last May and have not held any sessions with Zamalek officials, as reported, and this has not happened completely.”
And she continued: “I was surprised by a harsh attack on me by social media, and there was a ridiculous rumor that the greatest sentence had been signed against me, and this is not true, and with me it is not. no investigation was carried out by the club.. “
And he continued: “Zamalek at first tried to contact me to contract me, but I completely refused the matter, as I prefer to retire with the Red Castle.”
And on the crisis of Doaa Muhammad and Maryam Mustafa, the two stars of volleyball: “From my point of view we are in a moment of professionalism, and there is no crisis in going to any other club, especially because membership is in the heart, and each individual has his own personality and ambition ”.
Shorouk indicated that the criticism she was subjected to by fans of the team was very difficult, adding: “I have been through a very difficult period recently, after receiving a severe attack from the fans.”
And she continued: “My message to the fans is that we are girls and that should be taken into consideration, especially as I don’t come from a sports family. It is possible that I will be away from the game and have been asked to retire for it, but I love the game “.
And Shorouk Fouad concluded: “It is difficult for your family to see the unwarranted attack they are exposed to. So I ask them to calm down and not get carried away by rumors.”
