What changes for shops and commercial activities in the red areas from March 15th to April 6th under the decree-law approved on March 13th? And what specifically does it close for three weeks? They are closed i hairdressers, barbers and beauty centers, the shops of clothing and of shoes (but those for babies and children up to 16 years of age are open, because they grow up), jewelers, furniture shops and all activities that are not included in Annex 23 concerning the opening of retail trade . All markets are also closed, with the exception of those that only sell food, agricultural and horticultural products.

Bar, take-away restrictions
Strong limitations for bars and restaurants, where there is a ban on consuming inside the premises in both the red and orange bands and with the possibility of carrying out only take-away and home delivery. The take away allowed from 5am to 10pm (curfew). But from 6 pm it is forbidden for those whose main activity is that of bar without kitchen. Home delivery is allowed without time limits, but must in any case take place in compliance with the rules on packaging and delivery of products.

Toilets open out of absolute necessity
In the areas or at times when the consumption of food and drinks is suspended inside the premises, the use of the toilets located inside the bars and restaurants cannot be allowed, except in cases of absolute necessity.

The shopping centers
Shopping centers are closed on weekends. In any case, pharmacies, parapharmacies, health centers, food outlets, tobacconists and newsagents remain open inside shopping centers, on holidays and the day before holidays.

Service and refueling areas
As regards the service and refueling areas, only the food and beverage outlets located in the service and refueling areas located along the highways, in hospitals and airports, with the obligation to ensure in any case the respect of the interpersonal distance of at least one meter.

Confesercenti: 80 million less consumptions per day
According to an estimate by Confesercenti, the red zones will lose 80 million consumption per day. The new restrictions will cost the Italian economy around 80 million euros in consumption per day.
