Many retail chains decided to change the trading hours from mid-October – that is, in practice, extend them. Some of them, such as Lidl, made even more shops around the clock. Check how Biedronka, ALDI, Lidl or Auchan stores are open all over Poland.

The change in store opening hours is of course related to the second wave of the coronavirus epidemic. For several days, the number of new infections practically breaks records every day. On Saturday, October 17, it reached almost 10,000 (exactly 9,622).

Retail chains boast that they react quickly to the changing situation in the country. For example, the Biedronka chain, “in order to increase the safety of customers and employees and the comfort of shopping”, the chain decided to extend the working hours of its stores.
Biedronka extends the opening hours of stores
From Saturday, October 10, 2020, more than 40 Biedronki in Poland operate 24/7, and approx. 650 – until 23.30. It is a return to the famous Action 24, which, as the network explains, passed the test during the first phase of the pandemic and made it possible to shop safely.
