On Friday, November 24th, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturday, November 25th, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., the doors of the “Feel free” store will open in FuZo14 and Haus Hoher Markt in Waidhofen an der Ybbs. This is a business that requires no money. The project was initiated by Bettina Buder from Waidhofen. It is implemented in collaboration with the practice company for the fourth grades of the Waidhofen business and music secondary school under the leadership of the two educators Karina Böck and Sebastian Ressl as well as with the active support of Herta Frehsner and environmental councilor Judith Riegler.
The “Feel Free” store works in such a way that you can bring in things that you no longer need, but that still work and are in new or usable condition. This ranges from books to clothing and accessories such as scarves, bags, glasses and jewelry, to games, sporting goods, shoes, dishes and unused household items such as irons or coffee machines. However, only items that you can carry yourself without outside help may be brought in. For items to which this does not apply, there is a “notice board”.
Items will be accepted from Tuesday, November 21st to Thursday, November 23rd, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in Haus Hoher Markt. During the opening times of the “Feel Free” shop, you can enjoy culinary delights from the students of the WMMS business department and listen to the live sounds of the WMMS music middle school students.
