Shopping Sunday – when does it fall? Will there be a trading Sunday on August 14? There are fewer and fewer days marked as trading Sundays in the calendar. Most Sundays, it is forbidden to trade in larger stores. Only those stores where the owner will be behind the counter can be left open. In practice, this means that shops open on Sundays are only small, local shops.
Is August 14th a trading Sunday?
Not. Today’s Sunday is not a trading day 😬
Shopping malls and most shops are closed today (14/08). This does not apply to cinemas or restaurants in shopping centers. It is up to the owner of the specific property to decide whether the entertainment and leisure venues are open on non-trading Sundays.
