So far, the limit of 10 square meters per person has been in force in Germany. For comparison, in the Czech Republic this limit is set at 15 square meters.

Another novelty is that drapes will be mandatory in car parks in front of shops. The obligation to wear veils extends from enclosed rooms and public transport to open spaces. Areas where drapes must be worn outdoors, will be determined by local authorities.

In rail transport, the new regulation should increase seating capacity and at the same time reduce bookings so as to maintain passenger gaps. In trains, the obligation to wear a veil will apply and checks on compliance with this regulation will be strengthened.
