(ETX Daily Up) – If you’ve just cracked the latest iPhone after years in the Android environment, know that it’s relatively simple to switch from one universe to another while keeping all your data. Here are the steps to follow.
Apple makes it easy to migrate your data from an Android smartphone to any iPhone. To do this, you must first install the Migrate to iOS application on your Android device and connect the two devices to the same WiFi network.
While setting up your iPhone, select Migrate Data from Android in the Apps and Data step. When a code appears on the screen, enter it on your Android device and the two phones will connect with each other. You can then choose the different content you want to transfer to your iPhone (contacts, messages, photos, videos, various settings, etc.). The more data there is to transfer, the longer the operation will take. All you have to do then is download your favorite applications from the App Store.
For music, it is better to focus directly on iTunes, by plugging your iPhone into your computer. For contacts, you can integrate them into iCloud from its web platform and then easily retrieve them on your iPhone. The same goes for any document for that matter.
