JAKARTA – Bluebird Group, Shopee Indonesia, and ShopeePay officially announced a partnership which includes the provision of the ShopeePay payment method in the MyBlueBird application and the addition of the BirdKirim service as an express logistics service option in the Shopee application.
Paul Soegianto, Chief Strategy Officer of PT Blue Bird Tbk said that the collaboration emphasizes a more hygienic and less contact service. Due to the increasing use of non-cash payment methods and limited activities outside the home. This cooperation benefits and adds value for passengers.

Eka Nilam Dari, Head of Strategic Merchant Acquisition ShopeePay said that maximizing digital technology in terms of payments, especially in the midst of a pandemic is very important.
“The convenience of contactless transactions from ShopeePay in the MyBlueBird application is expected to help Bluebird Group passengers and drivers feel more secure because they no longer need to use cash,” he said.
The collaboration between Bluebird Group and ShopeePay is available to all MyBlueBird application users with iOS and Android systems.
In addition, the presence of the ShopeePay payment option in the MyBlueBird application can be enjoyed for ordering transportation modes and BirdKirim services in all Bluebird Group services spread in various cities in Indonesia.
In fact, starting September 2021, Shopee users can choose BirdKirim as one of their logistics service options when shopping at Shopee, especially for products from the food & beverage categories, decorations, home appliances, and others.

With the addition of this option, Shopee users can immediately receive their groceries in just a short time safely due to strict health protocols and a less contact delivery system implemented by the entire Bluebird fleet.
