JAKARTAKOMPAS.com – Ministry of Commerce (Ministry of Trade) ask all players e-commerce starting from Shopee until Tokopedia to “take down” para seller (seller) when it is found to sell cooking oil above the Highest Retail Price (HET).
It was previously known that the Ministry of Trade since February 1, 2022, has imposed the HET for cooking oil with details of bulk cooking oil set at Rp11,500 per liter, simple packaged cooking oil at Rp 13,500 per liter, and premium packaged cooking oil at Rp 14,000 per liter.

“We are also monitoring e-commerce, on marketplace facilitating trade, musttake down when there are traders who sell cooking oil for more than HET,” said the Director General of Domestic Trade at the Ministry of Trade, Oke Nurwan, in a dialogue on IDX Channel, Tuesday (15/2/2022).

Flush the market for 27 liters of cooking oil in the next 2 weeks
Furthermore, Oke said, his party has ensured that 27 million liters of cooking oil will be available for the next 2 weeks.
Thus, it is hoped that the community will have no difficulty in obtaining these basic goods at affordable prices in the market.
“It simply came to our notice then weekend Yesterday, around 27 million liters of cooking oil were supplied nationally. But maybe for the Eastern region it is a bit late because it is still in the process of being travelled,” said Oke.
According to Oke, basically the need for cooking oil for the community per day is around 9-10 million liters of cooking oil.
However, because the community’s needs are currently increasing, the Ministry of Trade has increased the supply than usual.
