An uproar broke out at a shop serving prata. Feeling cheated by the selling price, this customer is determined to police it store owner.

An amateur video shows the commotion that broke out between a shop customer and a prata seller. It is said that this is caused by customers who feel cheated with the selling price.

Quoting Stomp (14/3), an unidentified netizen uploaded an amateur video of the commotion that occurred at a roti prata shop located at Block 496, Jurong West, Street 41 Singapore. The incident reportedly occurred around 10am local time.
“There was a misunderstanding about food pricing between customers and food vendors,” said the owner of the video.
According to his statement, there were men who came to buy putu mayam but there were only a few left. Then store owner offer some extra bread by opening a new supply pack.
It turned out that after seeing the new packaging that was opened, the customer actually refused and said he would just buy the rest. The commotion broke out again when the shop owner served it to eat on the spot while the customer suddenly asked for the food to be wrapped.
Then when the customer wants to make a payment, the argument between the two heats up again. The customer who was billed for 1.50 Singapore dollars or the equivalent of Rp. 17,000 felt unacceptable because from the start he was promised that the price of one loaf was only 0.80 dollars or the equivalent of Rp. 9,000.
“In the video, customers can also be heard mentioning the rights of customers and the obligation to respect older people. He also screams and threatens to report it to the police,” continued the video owner’s statement.
The increasingly heated situation made customers and shop owners shout at each other. Store owner confused customers also feel pressured and bullied by their own customers.
Until finally a man came and tried to mediate between the two. “Please create a warm atmosphere for both other customers and shop owners. Both understand each other and be patient,” continued the video owner.
