Shop for Furniture and Decorative Objects with a Social Impact at Cáritas Diocesana’s Solidarity Market

In its commitment to the social and solidarity economy through recycling and reuse, Cáritas Diocesana has organized a solidarity market for furniture and decorative objects with a second life at sale prices. In this open day you will be able to find large furniture such as cabinets, showcases, as well as dining tables, coffee tables, desks… and also decorative objects. In addition, there is furniture of great value and antiques for lovers of high-quality vintage pieces.

All the benefits obtained in this market will be used for the labor insertion of people who are being accompanied by the entity and who carry out their work in the entity’s insertion company, Casa Común SLU. There are currently 22 people with insertion contracts who perform tasks in the three production lines that the company includes: textile recycling and reuse, furniture restoration and creative recycling.

The market will be located on Avenida Tío Pepe, number 37, next to Grupo Velázquez and will be open in the morning, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., as well as in the afternoon, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. This is a unique opportunity for people from Jerez or the surrounding area who do not want or cannot go to the store that Cáritas Diocesana has in El Puerto, specifically in the El Paseo Shopping Center.

From Cáritas Diocesana we encourage citizens to attend this solidarity market, since, on the one hand, they will be able to find pieces with a lot of value to give a special and exclusive touch to their homes and, most importantly, they will be collaborating in the creation of social employment and of course exercising responsible consumption.
