Shootings in Chicago leave three injured, including a 12-year-old boy (12:35 h) ‹ADN – Agencia Digital de Noticias Sureste

Oaxaca de Juárez, May 29. A series of shootings between Friday night and Saturday morning in the city of Chicago, in Illinois, USA, left three injured, according to the Chicago Police and local media.

Among the victims is a 12-year-old boy.

According to reports, the minor was with a group of people in the Grand Crossing neighborhood, when around one in the morning on Saturday someone who was inside a black car shot nearby.

The child received a shot in the leg, for which he was taken “in good condition” to a children’s hospital. Police said the boy may not have been the target, according to local media.

Another of the victims of the shootings night is a 40-year-old man, who received two gunshot wounds in the back and was taken to a hospital “in good condition,” said police Chicago.

The man was standing on a street in the Brighton Park neighborhood after midnight when a person between the ages of 27 and 29, according to police, shot him from inside a vehicle..

The third injured is a 42-year-old man, who was grazed by a bullet while driving.

Around 6:55 p.m. a man got into the back seat of the vehicle, pulled out a gun, and demanded that he get out of the car. They both struggled, causing the gun to go off.

The man was shot in the abdomen, for which he was transferred to the Medical Center of the University of Chicago. The aggressor fled the scene.
