Shooting leaves 3 dead and 2 injured at Dallas housing development – NBC Dallas (39)

Three people were killed and two others injured after a shooting at a north Dallas apartment complex, police said.

According to the Dallas Police Department, officers responded to a shooting at the Landmark on the Valley Apartments, located on the 8500 block of Lazy Acres Circle, at approximately 4:30 am.

Police said the preliminary investigation determined five people were killed as they were gathered in a rear car park.

Three of the victims, two men and a woman, were pronounced dead at the scene.

The other two victims, both adult men, were taken to a local hospital. One of the men was in critical condition and the other in stable condition.

Police said officers do not believe this shooting was random and that an investigation into this shooting is ongoing.
