– The interrogation of murder suspects has been interrupted again, says John Christian Elden who is the defender of murder and terror suspect Zaniar Matapour (42) to Dagbladet.
The police tried to interrogate the accused again from 12 o’clock on Sunday. The same thing happened during the interrogation on Saturday.
The accused has been made aware of the charge today and he is aware that he will be remanded in custody on Monday, Elden says.
– The interrogation, if you can call it that, has been very short. It lasted half an hour, says Elden to Dagbladet.
The accused will not be questioned and he will not answer questions on audio or video.
– He says he is afraid that the police can manipulate it, Elden says.
– He has proposed to be questioned on the old method, by the police writing down what he says. Police have said it is irrelevant.
