The NYPD cordoned off the area of Times Square, in the heart of that city, in search of the attacker who started shooting at the crowd and provoked at least two gunshot wounded.
According to the first reports, the attack was at sunset on Saturday. A woman and a minor were injured and had to be hospitalized immediately.
