An as yet unknown perpetrator shot at Kruitberghof in Zuidoost last night. A chase ensued, in which the police fired.

The shooting happened around 11:15 p.m. Several ambulances, a mobile medical trauma team, a police helicopter and a large number of police cars were alerted. Police say it appears there were no casualties.
Officers saw a suspect, but they were unable to apprehend him despite shooting them. It is not yet known whether these were warning shots or targeted shots at the suspect.

According to another witness, a large number of shots were fired last night. “It was like the wild west. Heard a lot of bangs.”
Last night there was on Benedenlangs in Noord shot too. No one was injured in the shooting either.
