The assailant “fired the gun at least 33 times,” Detective James Essig said. Seven men and three women were wounded by bullets. Another 13 people “suffered injuries related to smoke inhalation, falls or panic attacks,” he added.

Local media initially said there were various devices, including unexploded explosives, around the station. However, the police ruled out the presence of active explosive devices.
