MESSAGE FROM THE MAYOR OF NEW YORK
“Since this morning, my team and I have been in constant contact with the police, firefighters, emergency services, other city facilities, as well as state and federal officials. We pray for all New Yorkers injured or affected by the attack, “New York City Mayor Eric Adams said in a video message posted on social media.
“At this time, we haven’t found any explosive devices, but the suspect used a smoke device to wreak havoc. We won’t allow New York to be terrified of even one individual,” he added, assuring that the police “will find” the suspect.
“We ask the public to provide any information relevant to the investigation,” he asked.
