Shooting in Cologne-Bilderstöckchen: 21-year-old is said to have been close to “Hells Angels”.

It is 1:45 a.m. when several shots ring out through the Bilderstöckchen district. In front of a pizza shop at Geldernstraße 115, a young man (21) collapses and falls on the sidewalk with two gunshot wounds to his upper body. A white Audi, occupied by two people, races away and disappears into the night.

The attackers are said to have approached from behind shortly before and fired a total of five times. A 19-year-old who was standing in front of the pizza shop with the 21-year-old disappeared after the shots were fired. The 19-year-old may have been the decoy in the case.

For months there was silence in the rocker milieu

For several months it remained largely quiet in the rocker milieu. In October 2021 there was a shootout in the Kunibertsviertel – the victim, a rocker, was just able to shelter under a car on the Thürmchenswall. Now another argument may have broken out in the rocker milieu – the background is still unclear and is being meticulously investigated by the investigators of a homicide squad.

The 21-year-old victim from Bilderstickchen is said to be a young man who is close to the Hells Angels rocker group, but is not a member of the group. According to Rundschau information, the 21-year-old is well known to the police. In March 2022, the 21-year-old was sentenced to one year and six months in Cologne for dangerous bodily harm and violation of the weapons law. And: In June 2021, the 21-year-old was arrested after an attack in a cocktail bar on the Hohenzollernring. A 23-year-old suffered life-threatening injuries. He was acquitted in a court case.

The investigators are now checking whether the action by Bilderstickchen is related to the attack in the bar. “Possibly it was an act of revenge,” said an official. The victim made the emergency call himself. In this case, the investigators can probably not rely on video material from surveillance cameras. A check at the scene revealed that there were no recordings from cameras, police sources said. According to the public prosecutor’s office, the injured party is able to be questioned and can possibly give the officials information about the perpetrators.
