A shooting in Arkansas reported this Sunday left three people dead and several injured, according to a preliminary report from city police.
Officers went to a home in Jonesboro around 5 a.m. and found several people shot, local police said in a message on the Facebook social network.
One person was taken to the hospital by ambulance, and officers were told four others arrived at hospitals in private vehicles, according to the report.
Police have not revealed who is responsible for the shooting or given details about those taken to hospitals. The agency has opened an investigation. Jonesboro is about 70 miles (209 kilometers) northeast of Little Rock, Arkansas.
