Police described the attack as a “terrorist attack”
Seven were killed and ten wounded in a shooting at a synagogue on the outskirts of Jerusalem on Friday, the Israeli Foreign Ministry said.
Shortly after 8 p.m., a man opened fire on people leaving the synagogue. Police said the attacker was killed shortly after the attack and described the incident as an act of terrorism.

A number of Israeli officials wrote on their social media accounts that they strongly condemned the shooting, as today is International Holocaust Remembrance Day.
