Rachel Weisz and Colin Farrell will team up again in the upcoming black comedy, Love Child.
The ‘The Eternal Gardener’ actress and the ‘The Gentlemen’ star were together in front of the camera in Yorgos Lanthimos’ drama ‘The Lobster’ in 2015. Now Weisz (51) and Farrell (45) will be on set again in ‘Love Child’. Todd Solondz takes a seat on the director’s chair.
The plot “follows a precocious boy who wants to break free from his brutal father so that he can have his mother all to himself. Things go wrong when a handsome stranger shows up.”
Solondz has touted the film as “funny and sexy”. He told Variety: “This is my first single-story film and my first film to be set in Texas. It’s fun and sexy, and it’s shaped by the Hollywood films that made me become a filmmaker I’ve always loved Rachel and Colin’s work, and I’m so honored that I can inspire their passion for serious and unexpected work too. “
