Shoigu’s former lover asks the court to renew his residence permit in Lithuania

Yelena Kaminska, former mistress of Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and mother of her children out of wedlock, is filing for the renewal of her residence permit in Lithuania, which the migration department took from her in the summer, Lithuanian broadcaster Reports LRT.

As reported by LRT, Jeļena Kaminska, formerly Šebunova, lost her residence permit in Lithuania this summer.

The woman challenged this decision of the Migration Department at the end of August – at the beginning of September, the date for the hearing of the case in the Vilnius District Administrative Court has not yet been determined.

The State Security Department informed LRT that it has presented a conclusion to the Migration Department that Kaminska’s presence in the Republic of Lithuania could pose a threat to the country’s national security due to its ties to Russian entities.

Kaminska, 49, was a flight attendant at the Russian Ministry of Emergencies, which Shoigu led for 21 years. In 2001 a boy named Danila was born, in 2008 a daughter was born, Darja. Their relationship lasted until 2017.
