FAJAR.CO.ID, JAKARTA — Telematics expert Roy Suryo, gave his reaction regarding the hacking of election data at the KPU. This immediately made the public excited.
Frankly, Roy Suryo said that the 2024 Election was truly dangerous due to hacking of data at the KPU.
“The 2024 election is really dangerous,” said Roy Suryo in his statement on the X application @KRMTRoySuryo1 (29/11/2023).
Due to this incident, Roy Suryo immediately sprayed KPU chairman Hasyim Asy’ari.
Roy Suryo reminded that information regarding the hack had been available since Tuesday (28/11/2023).
“It has been clearly informed since yesterday (28/11/23), the Chairman of the KPU admitted that he only found out about it from the media,” Roy Suryo said.
He also questioned what the fate of the Indonesian people would be in the future if this incident was not immediately followed up.
“What will happen to the people tomorrow if their data is now sold to the Darkweb?” he said.
Not stopping there, Roy Suryo then touched on the data protection provided by the government to its people.
“Never mind cheating, protecting people’s data has been compromised,” he said.
Roy Suryo admitted that he agreed with Deputy Chairman of Commission I DPR RI Abdul Kharis Almasyhari who blamed the KPU for the data leak.
“I agree with the statement by the Deputy Chairman of Commission I of the DPR, the leak of 204 million people’s personal data is the KPU’s fault,” he said.
How could it not be, said Roy Suryo, the jumbo budget of IDR 76.6 trillion could still be hacked.
“This case is dangerous, you know, tomorrow’s election results could also be hacked,” he concluded.
