In a scene described by the pioneers of social networking sites in Jordan as thrilling and surprising, a woman in broad daylight in Aqaba Governorate in southern Jordan drilled a hole in the side of a tomb and placed a game inside the features of tampering with magic and sorcery.
The lady boldly went to a cemetery in the populous ninth district of Aqaba and began digging under the eyes of passers-by and neighborhood residents who documented the incident on their cell phones.
Jordanian security sources confirmed to Al-Arabiya.net that a report had been received from Aqaba Governorate police that there was a suspicious woman in the cemetery.
The source confirmed that the woman was born in 1976 and was arrested, and on going to the cemetery it was ascertained that there were no cases of tampering with the graves, but rather a “doll” was found.
Images circulated showed the lady burying a doll that displayed signs of magic and placing pins and sticking them into the doll’s body in an act known to be an act of witchcraft and sorcery.
The security services are still investigating the incident so that its investigation will be taken to the judiciary if necessary, because there is no damage or legal text criminalizing such behavior.
