South African rapper before his fall on stage
In a shocking scene for his fans, the famous rapper Costa Teach died in front of his fans during his concert in South Africa.
The South African rapper, whose real name was Konstantinos Tsupanoglu, died at the age of 28, in front of his fans, when he fell while singing on stage in Johannesburg.
The video, which was widely circulated on social media platforms, also showed Teach singing and then stumbling to fall on the stage during the “Ultra Music” festival in South Africa, before others helped him to stand on his feet.
And the star continued to sing after that, before falling again fainted.
After he was transferred to the hospital, his death was announced, without revealing the cause yet.
His brother confirms
For his part, the singer’s brother confirmed the news of the death, yesterday, Sunday, and posted on the late’s account on “Instagram” a message in which he wrote, “With deep pain, we find ourselves compelled to announce his death. We are grateful to those emergency responders and all those present in his last hours.”
The Ultra Music Festival also offered condolences through a statement saying, “Costa was an influential voice in South Africa, a talented rapper, dancer, singer, songwriter, collaborator and friend of the festival.”
The South African Music Rights Organization, on its official Twitter page, expressed its sorrow over the death of the rapper, while offering condolences to his family, friends and music makers.

Costa Teach is an artist from the city of Mbombela, near the borders with Swatini and Mozambique. Among the songs that made him star in Africa is “Big Flexa”, which achieved 45 million views on YouTube, in addition to its great success on Tik Tok.
In addition to his singing success, the late rapper recently participated in a partnership with a music company, the first fruits of which appeared in cooperation with the Senegalese American musician Akon.
