This Tuesday, September 26, the video of an improbable attack in an American fast-food restaurant was revealed by the channel ABC13 Houston. In the images, we see the employee of a drive-thru shooting at the car of a man who was complaining about not having his fries.
A barely believable scene. In March 2021, Anthony Ramos showed up at the drive-thru of a Jack in the Box fast-food restaurant with his pregnant wife and six-year-old daughter. After receiving his order, he discovered that the restaurant’s drive-through employee had forgotten to serve him his fries, reports the media Demotivator.
Two shots, no injuries
Dissatisfied, he complained to the waitress, named Alonniea Fantasia Ford. But the latter refuses to give them to him. An argument then breaks out between the two protagonists.
The situation escalates when the young woman leaves her booth to serve the food, before returning with a loaded pistol.
Naturally frightened by the weapon he sees, the father flees. At the same time, the employee shot twice. Luckily, no one was injured in the incident.
The employee apprehended, then sentenced
Alonniea Fantasia Ford was quickly apprehended by the police. She was therefore given a one-year suspended prison sentence.
At the same time, the Ramos family sued the fast-food chain for neglecting the security of the establishment. The plaintiffs’ lawyer estimates in the columns of the American newspaper Unilad that “Jack in the Box needs to do background checks on its employees so as not to expose its customers to someone who would try to kill them.” The father is claiming more than 230,000 euros in damages.
For its part, the company considers that it has “no control” over the actions of its staff and places the blame on its employee, who has since served her sentence.
