Jeddah ∙ Saudi Arabia announced a public holiday tomorrow (Wednesday) as part of their celebrations after their sensational World Cup win over Argentina in Qatar. The holiday was announced by the Saudi ruler King Salman. There will be holidays for the private and government sectors as well as for students. Saudi Arabia won by two goals to one.
Saudi Arabia has also given government employees a half-day vacation to watch today’s match. The whole country celebrates the coup won by the Saudi team. Salah Al Shehri in the 48th minute and Salem Al Dawsari in the 53rd minute scored the goals for Saudi Arabia. In the 10th minute of the first half, superstar Lionel Messi scored Argentina’s goal from a penalty.
