Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – United States (US) set a record. Now the death rate from the corona virus in the country has passed the 200 thousand mark.
From data Worldometers, The US recorded that there were 969 corona patients who died as of Tuesday (9/22/2020). This brings the total deaths to 205,471.
But the surprising thing came from the mouth of President Donald Trump when he learned about this. Instead, he called the figure embarrassing.

“I think if we don’t do it well and right, you (the US) will have 2.5 million deaths.”
He blamed China for not stopping the coronavirus from spreading around the world. This is related to the beginning of the virus transmission in Wuhan, Hubei Province.
“You see my UN speech, China should stop it at their borders. They should never let this spread around the world and that is a terrible thing,” he said.
“It is a terrible thing. It should never have happened. China allowed this to happen. Remember that,” he said, stressing that if he had not blocked access to Chinese citizens, the number of deaths could now reach 3 million.
The US itself recorded 7,097. 937 residents were infected with corona, where yesterday there were 35,696 new cases. The US is the country with the most cases in the world.
