The suicide of a couple in the Rajkot district of Guajarat, western India, has shocked the country. They would have beheaded with a guillotine in the middle of a satanic rite.
Apparently, the lethal weapon would have been built by themselves in their home, in order to offer their heads in the middle of the ritual. This was reported by the police for the local Hindustan Times.
The events occurred at a farm in a village in Vinchhiya, as reported by the sub-inspector of Indrajeetsinh Jadeja of the Vinchhiya police for the outlet.
The victims were identified as Hemubhai and Makwana Makwana, aged 38 and 35, respectively.
According to the police, the couple would have performed a ritual on April 22 and 23, 2023 in the afternoon and at night. At the scene, in addition to finding the deceased woman and man, they also found an altar of fire.
“The couple first prepared a fire altar before putting their heads under the mechanism,” said Police Deputy Inspector Indrajeetsinh Jadeja. Then they released a rope that made “An iron blade fell on them,” he added.
The couple wrote a letter prior to their death in which they say goodbye and ask their relatives to take good care of their children.
Regarding the fact, the family told Hindustan Times that although these kinds of rites are not very common in India, the couple had been acting strangely for the past year and had started praying more than usual.
This fact sets off alarm bells in this area of India, since similar cases have been known in recent months, particularly in less populated areas.
