Ahmad Samhan Awang, a doctor from Malaysia, revealed the sad story of one of his patients.
He said that his pregnant patients often experienced violence from drunken husbands.
“She complained that her husband had beaten her, there were bruises all over her body and face. The woman was a housewife and pregnant with her first child,” said Ahmad Samhan Awang as quoted by mStar.
The woman continued that she had been married for five years to her husband, who was not from just anyone.
The woman’s husband had a high rank and was respected even though he was only 35 years old.
However, Ahmad Samhan Awang was even more shocked when the woman revealed that she had HIV.
It seems that she was infected by her husband, who was recently revealed to be a same-sex lover and often had anal sex.
“I did an HIV test when making a health record book for pregnant women. I am a full-time housewife, my life depends on my husband. My husband doesn’t have another woman, but he has a male girlfriend,” said Ahmad Samhan Awang, imitating the woman.
Furthermore, the woman revealed that she had once caught her husband in a hotel with a man naked and only covered by a blanket.
“I found a photo of him with his boyfriend wrapped in a hotel blanket. He is not the type of man who is gentle. His body is pleasing to look at, I was surprised that he had lust for men,” added the doctor, repeating his patient’s story.
Ahmad Samhan Awang also felt concerned about the condition of the woman who had contracted HIV while she was pregnant.
