Al-Marsad Newspaper: Egyptian journalist Mahmoud Saad revealed that he and his family ate donkey meat for 20 years because his mother was a victim of a butcher.
He said, during a video clip on his personal account on the social networking site “Facebook”: “There was a butcher in Garden City. My mother used to go to him for many, many years.”
He continued, “On my mother’s day, I went down to the shop, covered with red wax, and discovered that this butcher was slaughtering donkey meat, and we ate a lot of donkey meat.”
