Shocking: Netflix loses one of its biggest series

The Sherlock series will no longer be available to stream on Netflix. We didn’t expect that.

Netflix loses streaming rights to one of the BBC’s better series: Sherlock. From July 14, the series can no longer be found on the streaming service.

That’s bad news because Sherlock is among the best series that Netflix has in its range. If you are a fan and don’t want to wait until you know to which streaming service the rights have now been sold, you should take a quick look.

Serial Sherlock was extremely popular and eventually got thirteen episodes of one and a half hours each. Actors Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman star Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson.

Developed by Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss, the series made the two so popular that they basically ran out of time. That is why the fourth season was shown in 2017 and we have not received a new episode since.

The rumor still goes that Sherlock will receive a fifth season, but no details are known about that for now.
