The report was filed on Friday, claiming that the young man had been kidnapped. This information raised the General Directorate of the National Police, SDVR and regional Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs-Kyustendil to their feet.
According to unofficial information, the young man was stopped on the road with his car by unknown persons who forced him to transfer money to them. Then it is not clear what happened to him.
In the end, however, it turned out that the 22-year-old lost the funds himself and lied about the assault, writes struma.bg.
The young man, the son of a police officer in Dupnitsa, squandered the money. He was scared that his parents would fight him and made up the story. The police quickly discovered his fraud.
He is a former football player of “Marek”, but after a serious injury he gave up football. Two years ago, he married the daughter of a mastitis businessman from Sofia. His father-in-law involved him in the construction business, and so he turned from a football player into a builder.
